“This kitchen was designed to work as part of an open-plan living space. The cupboards were kept simple and spray lacquered in a muted shade designed to 'disappear', while the middle row was painted by an artist in contrasting bright colours - inspired by the hues of a movie screen print hanging in the room - to add a focal point.”
